"Action Figure Madness"

Sunday night, 10:27 PM. I am sitting at my computer, jittery with anticipation. The all-new Episode 1 figures are hitting the shelves, tomorrow morning at 12:01 PM. I'll be leaving soon for Toys-R-Us^TM, after I pick up my friend, and fellow Star Wars lover. Tomorrow may be a weekday, the beginning of another school week, but that won't be keeping them away. "They" are the fellow Star Wars collectors - whether they be fans, fanatics, whatever. I am proud to say, "I shall be joining them!"
My wallet is stuffed in my pocket, crammed with all my extra cash. I'll be ready to get my itching hands on the brand new merchandise. Ahh, what a collector's dream! I can barely believe this is finally the day!
My weekend was filled with anticipation, and it is even moreso now, as the time draws nearer. I just had to do something, so I decided to begin my Web page. It should be up and posted by the time I leave.
After a whole year of waiting for something to happen, we're having a break from waiting so patiently for Episode 1. Of course, some are not so patient as others, and have gotten "rumors" and "teasers" from the movie. Whether these are true or not, I won't get involved, by spoiling the whole fun of the movie.
Right now, John Williams' magnificent score is playing on my stereo, further setting tonight's mood.
Well, it's about time that I get going, so I will draw this first article to a quick close.
So, until that wonderful day, when all Star Wars fans unite as one, flocking to the theaters thicker than Mynocks on a power cable, good bye.
